Founder
Hi! My name is Chris Lee, and I'm the founder of PeptiCloud, a bioinformatics platform where researchers can share/analyze data and collaborate with others in one location. You can think of it as GitHub for biology!
The reason I am reaching out is because we recently launched, and we wanted to see if you would be interested in covering us in your podcast.
For background, PeptiCloud was created to solve the issues that I had as a molecular biology student researcher. During my research, I encountered several challenges:
- No standard online platform to access original data associated with publications
- No dedicated place for researchers to showcase unpublished research
- No efficient way to organize and collaborate on multiple versions of DNA sequences
In order to solve these issues, my brother, Brian Lee, and I started PeptiCloud. We are currently working with users to continuously improve the platform. If you could cover us, it would help us out a lot!
For our backgrounds, I am a recent engineering graduate from The Cooper Union, and my brother is a rising senior studying CS at The University of Michigan.
Please let me know if you need any other information. Looking forward to hearing from you!
